First time here and will definitely not be the last, food was delicious! Everything was moist and tender, our server was really sweet and nice and took good care of us. Place was very cozy and country style. Highly recommended! Don't come here if you are a Vegetarian lol

Ashley is the best bartender ever! The food is incredible and the service is top notch. We did a few flights of moonshine to try them all, by far Cat Daddy and the blood orange were our favorites. The ambiance is so cute and welcoming. Everyone feels like friends or family here. We will be back again and again!

A few colleagues and I came by on a Wednesday night to find that we made it to their closing happy hour window. We ordered nachos and poutine from the happy hour menu (smaller portions) and then a couple meat combos to share between us all. My end of the table shared a 3-meat combo with ribs, brisket, and pulled pork for our meat choices, and then coleslaw and baked beans as our side, and the meal came with a slice of cornbread and some whipped butter. The happy hour items were pretty great and enough for six people to share despite the smaller portions than their regular menu. The meat was also very tender on the combo platter and I enjoyed having sauces available at the table because I am a sauce girl - the ribs were my favorite as they were fall-off-the-bone tender. The only things I didn't love were the coleslaw and baked beans - there was not really any flavor in either, just some tossed cabbage and wet beans. The cornbread was also plain and dry (the butter helped), so I'd say don't get your hopes up for any sides and just focus on the meats if you get a meat combo. This was my first time here so I can't gauge whether this was a normal crowd to staff member ratio but we didn't see our server more than the times it took for her to bring our food and have us pay, so we got pretty thirsty by the end of our meal having asked for water refills and never getting any. Overall I'd give 4 stars for the food but 3 for service. There was also a man dressed as a pirate who stood in the parking lot and silently watched us walk to our cars, which was.. uncomfortable.

I recently dined at Moonshine BBQ in Lynnwood. I opted for the 2-meat combo, which included juicy beef brisket and flavorful pulled pork. The tender brisket and the pulled pork was a highlight. The sides were equally satisfying; crispy fries and creamy macaroni and cheese.

This place is really busy, A hockey themed restaurant and bar establishment. The employees are running around trying to wait on all the tables. I feel as though the two females were exhausted but they never let it show. Took some time after seated to order but thankfully we were not in a hurry but enjoying our date night out. We split a combo plate and all the food was really yummy. If you like BBQ, drinks, and Hockey this is the place for you! Lots of cool hockey things around to look at, it's pretty cool!

Unexpectedly great food, great service, and plan to go back soon! Parking: Small parking lot Pet friendly: Unsure - they have an outdoor area so maybe Family friendly: Yes FOOD: 1. Luc's Poutine (Fresh fries topped with smoked beef gravy, cheese curds, green onion, and choice of meat for $) $9.00: 3 Stars - I love a good poutine since I love sauce but this was kind of meh for me. The fries were really good but the gravy was okay (no smoke taste and kind of bland)... and I would probably have loved it more if the cheese curd was also fried (which yes, I know its not traditional). 2. Fried Pickles Chips (Dill pickle spears blanketed in a cornmeal breading, served with ranch dressing and red pepper aioli) $8.00: 5 Stars - Super hot when it arrived so nice to know it was made "fresh." Great flavor, quantity for the cost is amazing, but my only annoyance is the name says "chips" but its spears... 3. Kid's Mac and Cheese: This was probably one of the best mac and cheese I've ever had. It was creamy, a touch of pepperiness, and perfectly cooked pasta. How good was this? My husband and I were stealing pasta from our kid LOL 4. Wild West Burger (Beef patty, cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, frizzled onion, XXX-BBQ sauce, chipotle BBQ aioli, garnish with roasted jalapeno) $18.00: 5 Stars - This was probably one of the best burgers I've had. The patty was juicy but not like so fatty. I loved their little kick from either their XXX BBQ sauce or the aioli but it was just enough. ::Chef Kiss: 5. Brisket Bleu Burger (Smoked beef brisket, grilled burger patty with blue cheese crumbles, blue cheese aioli, topped with frizzled onions) $17.00: 5 Stars - My husband down this so quick! I did not taste it since I am hands down on the no-bleu train. He is one of the pickiest burger person I know LOL MENU/RESTAURANT: They have a great size menu for such a small place. I actually through it was going to be BBQ and nothing else. They did have BBQ but they have a pretty good mix of other things that everyone can find something... well maybe not if you're vegan.. This place is small... like tiny but they fit in as many seats/table/booths as possible. It is a true divvy bar that you can easily see bikers frequent but with hockey décor everywhere so I can imagine how fun/packed this place will be during hockey season. They have an outdoor area that is the same size as the whole restaurant - which tells you how big the area or how small the restaurant is SERVICE: They are super friendly even though they are busy! When we went there was two waitress and one bartender managing everyone. My only fault I can think of is having a sign that says "Seat yourself." As this was our first time and they were busy, we had no idea if we could just grab a seat or not.

The food and service at Moonshine BBQ are outstanding. The barbecue can compete with any barbecue I've had in the South or Midwest. When you enter the restaurant, the atmosphere doesn't feel like you're in Washington, it feels like a Southern barbecue restaurant. My server (Jeremy) was very attentive, patient and helpful. This is now my go-to spot for barbecue. I highly recommend this restaurant.
